Accepted By Grace

Hello, my name is Jeanette, I live in a small country community on a farm that belonged to my great grandmother. I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I love my family with all my heart but more than that I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is not just my Savior, He is my best friend, the one I know I can go to with any problem no matter what time of the day or night. My greatest desire is to show others just how special His love is and to share with them the peace and joy He brings to my days. I want other to realize they to can find that same peace and joy in His love for them. His love is a special love. It is freely given to all. He loves each of us the same no matter what our past has been. We all are Accepted By Grace through Our Heavenly Father’s unfailing Love and Mercy for us.

I love sharing the Word of God with others. I love art and I love to share the beauty of God’s creation through my artwork. I often write of the many happy memories I have of growing up in the country with two wonderful Christian parents. I hope you are inspired and blessed by my posts. Please share them as often as you want as all is here to glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Please feel free to post prayer request and let me know by posting comments if you enjoy this site.

Thank You and May God Bless You Always!! Jeanette

When Silence Comes

It’ll never be what she says that you should pay the closest attention to, but the things that stay in her mouth, the words that she does not say. The love of a woman is a powerful and beautiful thing, but her silence can be truly deafening. Hear what she says, soak in her voice and take heart of the things she shares, but if you want to truly begin to understand the complexity and depth of a woman, start to pay close attention to all the things she doesn’t say. Her eyes will speak countless words that her soul yearns to express, yet she never does. Her quiet resolve and the strong facade that she maintains for the world to see protect her in ways that mere words never can. The walls around her heart, the hidden beauty of her soul, the latent dreams and unspoken desires are all part of her mystery. Cherish her, appreciate her and respect her, for she fights battles that you’ll never know or understand. She’ll tuck it all behind few words.. “I’m okay”..” everything’s fine.. ”Those are the painful whispers of an internal war that she wages so very often. You’ll rarely see her tears, for she often cries in solitude- the shower, the car, in bed. She doesn’t want the world to judge her or for others to worry, she just has those moments when her heart erupts tears of release, and she needs that momentary meltdown to keep going. So, don’t ever mistake her silence for lack of concern, for it’s just the opposite. She has a million things to tell you, but often just doesn’t even know where to start. Be patient, be respectful and be compassionate. And whatever you do, don’t push her over the edge too far, or she might never come back the same way you once knew.. Because when she has made her decision, there’s no more chances and no more starting over.. There’s just silence. She has no more words, no more tears and nothing left for you, for your relationship.. She won’t talk any more about what’s happened or what you can do, because It won’t matter. She’s done. She’s silent because she has nothing left for you.. She’s walking away. It’s that same silence that will tell you- if you know how to listen-everything you ever wanted to know about the real beauty and depth of a woman.. Just don’t wait too long and lose the wonderful opportunity to love her in all the ways she truly deserves.. Before it’s too late.. Because when it is, all you’ll hear is her silence.

Secret Sin

I know a lot will think this does not need to be discussed on here but I see a world where people are dying spiritual, where marriages are being destroyed and lives are lost. We cannot just see the pretty in life and never deal with the hard issues and that is why I am sharing this.

Secrets kept only destroy our lives. I have lived in a world of secrets kept to keep from hurting my church and others around me but the secrets only left emptiness and pain in my heart and I know an emptiness in him . He had an issue of looking at other women, at pornographic images and when confronted said, “It’s not hurting you if it’s wrong then it only hurts me, I’ll be the one to answer for it!” This statement is so untrue! Anytime you look at such images you are destroying those around you causing them to feel less of a person and undermining any trust they have in the relationship. In the end it will destroy you and the relationship completely. He said he would stop and did at times but would eventually go back to it because we never got the help we needed. I also want to admit my part I began to withdraw from him and I feel looking back this only made our problems worse. I wish so much that we could have went to Christian counceling but he wasn’t willing. He wants to move on and I know I have to. The Lord wants us to be pure in our mind, body, and spirit. Jesus said no sin shall enter into heaven. Please pray for those who are dealing with this addiction. They are spiritually sick and don’t even realize it. Also pray for the spouses of those in these kind of relationships, pray God gives them the wisdom and strength they need to walk through it. I see things I wish I had done differently but its to later now for us. It’s hard sharing this but I pray sharing helps someone out there. Maybe it will help someone else save their marriage.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

He Cares For You

He Cares For You

It was a troublesome time as we dealt with the loss of my dad in fall months of 1996. The years prior to that had been hard as well. We had seen a lot of heartache with my father-in-law dying just one year prior to my dad and my nephew having been murder a few years before that. As I look back and remember the weight of loss our family had suffered I sometimes wonder how we got through those times at all. One thing was for certain the hand of God was upon us during those difficult years.

I often wonder how my brother and his family coped with all the heartache, anger and bitterness from the loss of their first born. It changed their lives forever and left a void that could never be filled. I can remember standing and staring out the window of my mom and dad’s thinking we were all living in a horrific dream that we would eventually wake up from. But that day never came and the reality set in that we had lost someone very special in our lives.

My mom and dad had taken it very hard as well. Timmy had been their first born grandson, the apple of their eye, as was all their grandchildren. My mother grieved night and day, I can remember her saying at one point she had cried so many tears that she couldn’t cry anymore. I don’t believe I ever saw her cry again after that, not even when she lost dad. And dad, who had recently had heart surgery spend all his days looking for clues to whom had shot his grandson in the back. His mind was tortured to the point he eventually had a stroke and had to spend months in rehab to just be able to come home again to his family. Five years after the death of his grandson my dad eventually lost his battle with cancer.

During all of this reality set in, bad things can happen to good people. It doesn’t matter how good you are the evil in this world can still come to visit us and our family. When times like these come our faith in God and His goodness is the only thing that carries us through. We saw hard time, we had no choice. Yet in all of this the Lord was with each of us showing his love and mercy to us in so many ways. He was there giving us strength when we were weak, comfort when we were grieving, peace when we felt there would never be peace found again within our hearts and souls. The Lord never promised us there would never be troubles but he did promise He would be with us in whatever we face.

If you are reading this and you are struggling with great loss and heartache in your life please remember the Lord loves you and He will never leave you no matter what is happening in your life. He understands your anger, your bitterness, your rage at times, and your pain. There isn’t anything you have done or can do to keep Him from loving you. He cares for you and will give you the strength you need to get through whatever you are facing.

Jesus Promised in John 14:16-18: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Jesus promised we would not be alone. Trust Him He is there with you all the way, through it all, loving you as no other can because He loves you more than life itself.

God Blessings and Love to All! Jeanette

Action speaks Love Louder Than Words

Action Speaks Love Louder Than Words

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Have you ever heard the saying, “Words are cheap but action speaks louder than words”? This saying is so true! It is so easy to say I love you but what really shows love, especially the love of God is what we do for others. Nothing is truer than with our families, our spouse, our children, grandchildren, and others we are around every day of our lives. It is so easy to fall into a habit of not seeing the needs of those around us, taking others for granted while they suffer in silence. The bible teaches us that a man who does not care for his own is worst than an infidel. (I Timothy 5:8: But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.) If you know a need someone has, a struggle they are facing everyday of their lives and you do nothing to help with that need or struggle the bible says you are sinning and you are worse that an unbeliever, a heathen. It is so easy for us to say we love and we care for people or to say we will pray for someone’s need. Prayer is wonderful and we should always pray for others but if we have the means to supply the need of someone it is our Christian responsibly to take care of that need. God is a Lord of doers not just talkers. Talk is cheap and sounds good to the ear especially our ear but what really makes a difference is doing what is needed to help others. You can tell someone you love them all day long and never lift a hand to help that person they won’t care about your words but if you reach out and help with their needs they will always remember that and most will return that love two fold. More than that God will be pleased with you and will bless you for your kindness to others.

Philippians 2:4 say, Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. We are not to just look out for ourselves but to look to the needs of others.

Our words are cheap but our help to others brings results for God.

Doubting Thomas

Hebrews 11 1 2

Doubting Thomas

John 20:25 “The other disciples therefore said unto him, we have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

Can you imagine walking with Jesus every day, being taught personally by him, seeing all the miracles he did and not believing that God was capable of raising Him from the dead?

Yet, Thomas was human just as we are human with our fragile emotions. Far too often we fail to have the faith that we should, even after seeing the glorious work that Lord does in our lives every day. I have never doubted that Jesus is Lord or that the Father raised him from the dead yet so often I find myself worrying over things instead of just trusting the Lord is in control. The devil is always coming to poke at our weaknesses trying to cause us to doubt the Lord loves us, that he is always there interceding for us in whatever situation we are in. Troubles and trials come our way and we fret and doubt. We may not consciously doubt yet we fret over so much we cannot control instead of just turning it over to the Lord.

As long as we are in this physical body we will have trails and temptations come our way. When those situations come if we keep our faith in the Lord we grow stronger and stronger in that faith, the faith that will eventually carry us home to be with the Lord. There is peace for our soul and spirit when we put our faith in the Lord, trusting Him in every situation we face. This world is only for a short time but heaven is forever. Keep the faith my friends. Trust the Lord in whatever situation you are in. If you are having trouble keeping that faith then talk to the Lord about it and listen with your heart as he speaks to you. Rest knowing he loves you and is working all things for your good.

I Peter 1:7-8 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Heavenly Father, we come humbly before you today in our fragile weak state. Our bodies and minds so often are weak and troubled and our faith wants to fail us. We ask you Father to hear our plea. Help us to not be a doubting Thomas. Come to us Father and fill us with your Holy Spirit. Teach us Father and instill in us a faith that will carry us through whatever situations we face. We know Father you love us and only want what is best for us. We know you are always there with us in every situation we face. We trust you Lord, we put our faith in you and what you did for us at Calvary. We love you Lord and we thank you for always being there with us. We give you honor, praise and glory.

In Jesus Precious Name, Amen and Amen.

Christ is Our Liberty

II Corinthians 3 17-18

Christ is Our Liberty

Are you sick my friend within your soul

Filled with sorrows you’ve never told

Come find peace from our Lord above

From which there is an endless supply of love

He Cares for you as no other can

For his love is as endless as the grains of sand

His love will heal you and make you whole

And give you sweet peace within your soul

Let go of your cares and step away

Christ paid the price you could not pay

He’s reaching out to you, waiting patiently

To give you hope, peace, and liberty

II Corinthians 3:17-18

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Joshua 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Living with Menieres’ Disease can be hard and now the doctors say I have Vestibular Migraines along with the MD. One of the most difficult things is getting others to understand what you are experiencing. On the outside I look the same but inside I am totally different. My world at times feels upside down. I have found it doesn’t do me a lot of good to tell others why I can no longer stand for long periods, look up or down, turn sideways quickly, be around loud noises especially music and a crowd of people talking. Lights affect my balance and working on the computer has become very difficult, making me tire out easily.

As I spoke with a lady from my church earlier today we talked about how I had started a new medication called Emgality in the hopes it will help the constant pressure in my head and relief some of the other symptoms I experience on a daily basis. I could tell by her reaction she has no idea what I feel and really has a hard time believing it can be that bad. Honestly, I know it is very hard to comprehend what others feel without experiencing what they go through. I have been guilty of it myself at times. One thing I have found is, don’t ever judge someone by how they look because you have no idea what they are going through in their lives or within their bodies. Looks can be so deceiving in so many different way.

As I sat on my deck reading my bible this morning I thought about how I had felt talking with my friend. I thought about how alone I feel at times, then I heard the eagle in the distance. The same shrill cry I heard on the day I lost my hearing in my right ear. I believe the Lord sent that eagle because He wants me to know I am never alone. He is always with me. I am so thankful for my relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ. I cannot imagine a life without Him in it. My heart goes out to those who doesn’t know Him in a personal relationship. They are missing out on the most wonderful unimaginable experience you could ever know. No person can fill the void He fills because He knows each of us for more than we even know ourselves and His love reaches far beyond anything our mortal minds can comprehend.

I can never thank my Lord Jesus Christ enough for His love and holy presence in my life. I never want to even imagine a life without Him in it. May the Lord bless each of you and may you know that wonderful secure relationship that can only be found in Him and His ever abiding love for you.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I Am With You Always

we are never

I Am With You Always

Jesus promised us in His word that he would always be with us. We never have to feel we are alone. Even though we do not always feel the Lord by our faith we know He is always with us watching over us. On those days when we feel we are alone remember to stay in communication with the Lord. He loves to hear from us and the more we talk with Him the closer we are with Him. Always be assured His love is always there no matter what we have done or what is happening in our lives. He is just a word or thought away and those times when we feel alone He is still right there walking beside us, guiding us and protecting us.

John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Deuteronomy 31:8 – And the LORD, he [it is] that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Isaiah 41:10-13 – Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Thank you Lord for your presence in my life. Even though I do not always feel you I know you are with me for I am not living by my feelings but by faith in you, Lord. You promised me in your word that you would never leave me or forsake me. I can go through my days knowing no matter where I am or what I am doing you are right there with me guiding me and protecting.

I know you speak to my heart as I speak to you with mine. Words do not have to be verbally spoken as I can speak with you in my mind and with my heart and you hear each word. Thank You Father! I give you honor and praise. In Jesus precious name. Amen.

Our Purpose Never Ends

Blue Rose Cutout

Our Purpose Never Ends

Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before ordained that we should walk in them.

So many times I have taught about our purpose in life and how God has put each of us here for a purpose, but recently it has been revealed to me that our purpose is not just one simple thing but many things in our walk on earth. Often times the Lord sends us to do something in our life. If we are hearing His voice and heeding His voice as we should we then go forth and complete what He sent us to do. But is that one time the end of it? I don’t believe so and I will show you why. The Lord came to this earth to glorify the Father in heaven and gave His life so we can be in a personal relationship with the Father again. This was His main purpose but He fulfilled many other purposes while here on earth. He called the disciples and taught them so they could carry the gospel when He had returned back to the Father. He performed many miracles to show the compassion, love, and power from the Father above, each one being a purpose within its self. Everything Jesus did was to fulfill a purpose for the Father who sent Him.

I began to think on this recently because I had lost the hearing in my right ear and developed a serious balance issue from a disease called Menieres’ Disease. I faced many days of depression because I could no longer physically sing with the worship team or teach classes in my church. Daily tasks I was use to doing became a struggle to complete. I began to wonder what my purpose on earth now was. I felt as if my purpose in life had been taken from me. The person I identified as was no longer there.

I asked the Lord many times, “What do I do now?” Recently I started to ask Him to show me what he wanted me to do. He began to bring back to my memory dreams I had had many years ago. In one dream he carried me into a room that had clear glass walls all around it, in the middle of the room there was a pure white desk and the Lord said sit and write. Then in another dream I was searching for what I thought was my earthly father among tall trees but later came to realize it was my heavenly Father for whom I was searching. In the dream I was carried down a road that lead to a house in which I was lead down a long hallway into a room that had large glass windows that looked out over the most beautiful clear water with pure white sparkles of light shimmering across it. In that room sat a desk and the Lord said sit and write. I have written some poems and in my blog off and on for awhile now but I believe there are things the Lord wants me to say to others through my writing, things that will give them hope and maybe strengthen their faith in times of trouble. I don’t claim to be anything special and if my words touch anyone they are not of me but of my Father in heaven of which I am only an instrument for His glory.

I know I cannot be the only person in life who feels they are no longer the person they use to be for whatever reason. We all have a purpose for being on this earth and we only have an allotted time to fulfill that purpose. Our life upon this earth can be a short time or it can be many years. We may only have a short time to fulfill our purpose or we may have many opportunities to fulfill our purpose for the Father in many different ways. One thing is for sure God did not bring us here to sit by doing nothing for His kingdom, nor did He bring us to this earth to care only about ourselves and what we can get while here on this earth. Our greatest accomplishments are when we do as the Father has called us to do. We are to carry His kingdom forth by loving others and showing them the grace of our Father in heaven through our lives and actions. Our every thought, word, and action should be about showing the goodness of God through us in whatever ability He gives us. Thereby fulfilling our purposes one after the other until our life is finally given over to be received again into the presence of God.

Not how we hear or see or what we have in life will define who we are. Only by our example as a child of the Father, an example that brings others to Him can define who we are as person and as child of our heavenly Father. Our purpose here is for His glory and His glory only. That purpose is not complete until we draw our last breathe no matter what physical state we are in. Even though one chapter of our life has been written doesn’t mean God doesn’t have other chapters to be written in other ways. I encourage you don’t give up if your life has been changed by a circumstance beyond your control. Turn the page and let the Lord guide you into the next chapter of your life.

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in His loving care and may you never lose sight of His purpose for your life.
